Is that Boston in the Play-Offs?

Just like that the stars have aligned, and the Boston Celtics have made the play-offs. No, that isnt a typo, and I wasnt meant to say Play-In. The Celtics are locked in and are going to the play-offs.

Some fans or personalities around the league, may make comments along the lines of, it is about time and should of made it years ago. Some may also make statements like, Hands down GM of the year and perhaps, I wish I had the Bostons GM patience and foresight. Having my ear to the ground, the latter comments are the ones I am hearing more often.

Boston finished the season with a record of 51 wins and 31 losses. Which has them sitting fifth in the Eastern Conference. This wont be a shock to anyone when I say that this is the new record for the Boston Franchise since the opening of the league.

The plan from long time GM, Toby, seems to finally be coming to fruition. His band of youth are growing into themselves, obviously lead by MVP candidate Jayson Tatum and his running mate Darius Garland.

I would say James Wiseman has been the surprise of the season and may be in the conversation for most improved. His last couple of weeks have been amazing so is taking some good form into the play-offs.

Boston will be at full strength, so some decisions will need to be made with the rotations. The club feels they have a very strong bench unit and are hoping they can come in and continue to produce. This unit will most like be led by a combination of Sengun, Rozier and KPJ. But obviously nothing is set in stone as any of them is a starting calibre player.

Fans are rejoicing and besides themselves with excitement. Tickets in Boston have already sold out and the city is currently being painted green.

This team clearly lacks a lot of play-off experience but hopefully the team can make some noise come game time.
