Into the draft we go!
The Pacers
are nearing the end of the season, and they are gearing up for the draft. As with all the teams towards the bottom, we
are eyeing all the young prospects that just played in March Madness! Right now, the Pacers are tied for the 5th
worst record with Atlanta. There are a
lot of good players in this draft, so even ending with the 6th wouldn�t�
be the worst thing in the world. The
team is hoping that the draft balls roll their way though and they end up with
a top 3 pick and move into the elite player camp.
There will
be a lot of speculation of who will be taken at the top of the draft as a lot
of people like the different top 3 players.
This team is going to play with the cards close to the chest, as this
draft will mean a lot for the Pacers franchise moving forward.
KAT is a
player that the team is hoping to build around.
Sadly, the trade that sent out Embiid didn�t prove that great for the
team, as Lonzo ended up missing most of the season. The hope is that he comes back strong and
healthy, and he and KAT, and an unknown rookie will lead this team back into
the playoff mix.
This season
was a sad one for a team that started with playoff aspirations, but quickly realized
they were not at the same level as many of the playoff teams. Sending Embiid out was hard to do as the man
is an amazing player, but sometimes you gotta mix things up in this
league! Kudos to him for turning into an
MVP-type player this season in the NBA.
KAT is still an up and comer, and his team is going to make the playoffs
too! I�m very excited for things to come
for this team, and no matter what pick we get, we will be excited!
