News - Milwaukee Bucks - EthanC21
Welcome to the NSL

Week two has come and gone, and so did the Bucks winning record with the Bucks dropping 3 of 4 games to take the team to 4-4 overall.
The league really rolled out some quality opposition in week two, with the young Bucks struggling to contain some really savvy veterans of the league.
The Sixers were the first tough loss, with Damien Lillard lighting up our starters and Al Horford and LaMarcus Aldridge too clever for our bench. Evan Mobley showed why he was named rookie of the week in week one, finishing 1 rebound shy of a 20-20 game.
Next was the very injured Miami Heat, with the Bucks able to take control of the game after a slow start with a dominant second quarter. Duncan Robinson was firing up the shots which was great to see and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished with a team high 34 points.
The Rockets proved the next big test and Nikola Jokic was too much, despite double teaming him at every opportunity, the crafty big man continually made the right play, keeping us at bay. Jokic had a triple double and the young bigs Mobley and Precious Achiuwa put up solid numbers despite the loss.
Lastly was a game that we had hoped to win at home, against a Magic squad that hadn't started the season so well. But Trae Young, the man that Daz was so keen to try and acquire upon joining the league, was on fire. Young scorched for 38 points and was huge in the 4th quarter, leading the Magic to victory.
Despite the losses, the Bucks were able to hang on to 8th place in the East and still have a positive differential.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was again the best performing Buck, averaging 28 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Evan Mobley was also big with 15 and 11 and it was nice to see Duncan Robinson shooting the ball, something we certainly want to encourage, he averaged 10 points and 4 assists.
Week three brings more challenges for this young team. Two of the leagues best in Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant will be looking to inflict pain as well as the well rounded rosters of the Thunder and Grizzlies. Will this team be up for the challenge with Zion still on the sidelines? Is Daz growing impatient with the fitness and dedication of their overweight star? We shall see.
Let's go Bucks!
