New year

Happy New Year NSL
Firstly an apology for the
ghosting act over the previous weeks (mainly discord which was switched off and
is back on now) eh sometimes life takes a priority outside of fantasy but with
a new year comes a new refreshed outlook.
Now to the business, have
the wheels fallen off the LA Clippers ?
six battering’s in the last nine
games is a concern the fact it was without our main man Giannis is both
relieving and a worry. Having a dominant player is great, being a one man team
not so much
In saying that I’d much
rather own the freak than have to face him
What’s Next
Filter through the numerous
discord messages, on site messages and recent goings on around the league,
whilst continue trying to eke out a few wins here and there.
while the team is running on
fumes. Is there the possibility of trading before deadline? Who knows…….
The goal has always been
playoffs and with the team dropping to 5th
in the west over recent weeks the goal for
the season may need some tweaking. While playoffs remain the focus. Who knows
what the coming weeks will bring
Bright Spots
The goofy looking white dude
Corey Kispert, would probably look more at home on a University rowing or
wrestling team but surprise surprise he can actually play basketball (more so
in the NSL than the NBA at this point but eh he has shown some touches in both
leagues and that’s all one can ask for.
Second bright spot continues
to be the play of R.J. Barrett who this week was moved to point guard with
injuries taking their toll leading the team to two week 9 wins with averages of
21pts 4asts 4 rebs and shooting splits of 41/57/100. With no freak to be seen,
RJ is doing his all to keep up the winning ways.
Weeks Ahead
Aside from a week 10 where
we face teams on a winning percentage of .35% weeks 11, 12 and 13 look rather
rough for the Clippers which could go in one of two ways, Solidify a spot in
the top half of the west or hurtling down the standing in a playoff battle for
a lower seeding
Trades
Has that horse bolted,
probably. Aside from loving the trade game. I hate trading and can only be
thankful I don’t have to negotiate with myself J
