Week 1...

Week One

Week one now in the books, the clippers GM is somewhat satisfied with the results which have the team sitting at 3 wins 3 losses half way through week number 2. the players are buoyant and upbeat with the start a feeling the GM shares.

The fans however are split on the results however with a many feeling like their should be more stank in the tank, and an eye on the Victor Wembenyama prize at the end of the tunnel

despite the detractors the LA based team will continue on its merry way attempting to doubt the naysayers with the clippers GM content to just mildly suck as a team and not fully suck so much that's its embarrassing.

GM Andrew : Anyone that thought we were going to throw in the towel and lose on purpose was sorely mistaken, I know we are rebuilding but part of that process is team growth and the sooner the better.

We could have thrown out some silly line-up's played players out of position and manufactured losses but in all honesty that is pointless and leaves a sour taste in my mouth to be honest

Player(s) of the week

Paolo Banchero was excellent week 1 without putting up superstar numbers to the tune of 18.3 points 12.3 rebounds 3.3 assists and 1 block per game while shooting 70%fg 100% 3's 75% FT

while he is currently injured special mention must go to fellow draftee Bennedict Mathurin who has been equally impressive in his first games involving himself in all areas and stepped it up even more with the absence of Paolo in the beginning of week 2

Rumours

even though the team is performing admirably there is no rest for the wicked with the retention committee working overtime looking for the next moves that continue the teams growth into the imminent and distant future.

The weakness we have and will continue to have is in the front court with the departure of Sab and Giannis we are getting burned on the boards and as such have made a number of players available to assist with that area

are most notable in trade talks with at least two NSL teams making an approach for RJ Barrett who has been with the NSL clippers from day 1 and is a fan favourite in LA
