Mid Season Update
Mid Season Update

what a roller coaster for the first 8 weeks of the regular season, highs and low's and there are still 11 weeks to go. As of writing the Clippers sitting on 18 wins and 18 losses on the regular season and despite a recent and ugly form drop sitting nicely in a play in spot and atop the pacific division.
Id give that a solid pass mark, with the clear and immediate goal to push and claim a western conference play in spot. And while that might seem like an un-lofty goal it would be quite significant considering the youth of the roster
though part of me (the irrational part) is imagining the huge mistake it is to pass up the chance of landing The Alien Victor Wembenyama I mean Victor would fit this team (and many other's) perfectly.
Imagine a Paolo and Victor front court ?
the unfortunate truth and the rational part of me and from someone who has been down the tanking road, It SUCKS and isnt a path this GM plans to travel any time soon
Rookie Watch
Paolo Banchero
ESPN #55 NSL #48
Paolo has been quite a draft pick up at number 2 in the most recent NSL draft and looks like a strong candidate for NBA rookie of the year honours. He is one smooth operator on the court andand we will most definitely enjoy his craft in LA for years to come.
NBA Averages - 20.7 points 6.5 rebounds 3.8 assists
Bennedict Mathurin
ESPN #116 NSL #65
Bennedict is a walking bucket and the most likely to steal away ROY honours from his team mate in 28 mins per game is averaging 17.5 points 4.1 rebounds 1.4 assists while shooting 42.5 % from the field. Mathurin as of writing has twenty 20 point games this season off the bench. The most for a rookie since Ben Gordon (24) in 2004.
Jalen Williams
ESPN #142 NSL #369
the man they call J Dub, isnt a player that has seen lots of NSL minutes but dont let that fool you! This guy is a flat out BALLER that can do a bit of everything on an NBA court. With current season averages of 11.5 points 3.9 rebounds 2.9 assists and 1 steal per game all while shooting an impressive 50% from the field.
Tari Eason
ESPN # 213 NSL #242
much like J-dub Tari hasn't exactly been given the opportunity he deserves with both Paolo and PJ Washington on the team he is pure hustle on the court and will undoubtedly receive his moment to shine. And gave us a glimpse recently when earning starts for the rockets and doing quite well.
Interestingly Of all 4 clipper rookies Tari has received the most interest
