Some new Youngsters

As there is All Star break at the moment and the team is a little struggling recently, even with all key guys healthy...we take some more time to look at young players that just joined the Magic during the last weeks.
Two of them are 2-Way-Players and one has a deal that could make him restricted free agent in 2024, so all of them could possibly stay with the team for longer .. but its not guaranteed.

So we have our first 2-Way-Player Jack White, he is a 6'7" forward from Australia who played college basketball at Duke University. White is a versatile player who can defend multiple positions, rebound effectively, and knock down shots from beyond the arc. He shot over 40% from beyond the arc in his senior season at Duke, showing that he has the ability to be a reliable outside threat at the next level. However, his shooting can be streaky at times, and he will need to continue to refine his shooting stroke to become a more consistent scorer.

And our second 2-Way-Player AJ Green is a 6'4" guard who played college basketball at Northern Iowa. Green is a dynamic scorer who can score from all over the court, both inside and outside the paint. He is a crafty ball-handler who can create his own shot and get to the rim effectively, and he also has a smooth shooting stroke that makes him a dangerous outside threat. He averaged over 19 points per game in his senior season at Northern Iowa, showing that he has the potential to be a high-scoring guard at the next level. However, his defense and size may be a weakness, as he may struggle to guard larger and more physical guards in the NSL.

And the long term deal belongs to Haywood Highsmith is a 6'7" forward, he came via Trade for points from the Philadelphia 76ers. Highsmith is a solid all-around player who can score from inside and outside the paint, rebound effectively, and defend multiple positions. He has also shown the ability to handle the ball and make plays for his teammates, making him a valuable asset in transition and in the pick-and-roll. He is known for his athleticism and ability to finish above the rim. He is a high-flying dunker who can finish with authority in traffic, and his athleticism also allows him to be an effective shot-blocker and rim protector. But his shooting can be inconsistent at times, and he will need to continue to work on his shot to become a more reliable scorer from beyond the arc.

Overall, each player brings unique skills and abilities to the court, and each has the potential to make some impact at the right time. White's versatility and shooting ability, Highsmith's athleticism and all-around game, and Green's scoring prowess are all assets that could help the Magic. However, each player will need to continue to refine their games and develop their weaknesses in order to become consistent contributors in the future.

Sostay tuned Magic Fans!
