First move as the Bucks GM

GM Ethan has wasted no time making his mark on the Milwaukee Bucks since taking over the NSL Champions. Immediately upon arriving in Milwaukee, he assessed the roster and envisioned how it should evolve before the 2024-25 season. His proactive approach at the trade table reflects his commitment to shaping the team according to his strategic vision.

The Trade Block:

These players, all crucial contributors to the recent championship win, found themselves on the trade block as GM Ethan began to put his own stamp on the team. Understandably, each new GM brings a fresh perspective and strategy, necessitating such moves.

Initially, trade discussions were slow or non-existent, which was surprising. However, eventually, some Eastern Conference rival GMs and a few from the Western Conference approached us. GM Rootsey of the Memphis Grizzlies, in particular, mentioned needing to trim some salary while gaining valuable expiring contracts in return. Within moments, the framework of a deal began to take shape.

The Deal:

Milwaukee Receives:

Memphis Grizzlies Receive:

Golden State Warriors Receive:

Milwaukee is thrilled to secure the services of Tyler Herro, whom we see as a great scorer with playmaking potential. Mitchell Robinson brings formidable rim protection and can complement Shai Gilgeous-Alexander well. Additionally, Nassir Little will provide valuable minutes throughout the season.

Looking forward, we now possess considerable flexibility at the trade table. If Evan Mobley, Tyler Herro, and a future first-round pick pique your interest for a significant acquisition, feel free to reach out.

GO BUCKS!
